George “Buzzy” Matthews, one of the most iconic and loyal SSOMS members, passed away peacefully on August 29. Buzzy was a true character who probably attended more SSOMS meetings than any other member, serving as President in 1981. His infectious smile and never-ending fund of colorful stories will be sorely missed. Our love and condolences go out to his devoted wife of 70 years, Jeanie.
